Quick Creations
Inspired by my ‘Short Story’ lecturer’s monthly animation challenge; where he dedicates a day to creating whatever comes to mind. I’ve embarked on my own journey of quick creations. Setting aside one Sunday each month, I intend to immerse myself in the sheer joy of learning new techniques or skills through spontaneous illustrations or animations. It’s a refreshing break from the routine, a day dedicated to pure creative exploration and fun.

Driving creativity
The essence of these ‘Quick Creations’ lies in nurturing creativity. They provide a refreshing break from the pressures of university deadlines, allowing me to delve into the realm of pure enjoyment and creative exploration.
Building skills
Engaging in projects solely for the sake of creation grants me the freedom to explore skills that may have otherwise remained undiscovered amidst the structured demands of university assignments or commissioned work.
Just for fun
These projects are to be all about embracing the fun and spontaneity of creative expression while also expanding my skill set and portfolio in the process.

UFO Animation
In this project I experimented with texture and loop animations. I followed a YouTube tutorial by Ben Marriot on how to create the grainy loop overlay. I also figured out how he created other elements in his animation such as the background layer.
Under construction
Welcome to a world of limitless possibilities, where the journey is as exhilarating as the destination, and where every moment is an opportunity to make your mark on the canvas of existence. The only limit is the extent of your imagination.
