As I find myself amidst the final stretch of my university journey, poised at the threshold of myriad career possibilities, it’s imperative to pause and celebrate the rich tapestry of skills woven during my quest through the realms of a BSc Hons in Creative Media Technology.
Embarking on this academic voyage as a single mother and a seasoned student unfurled a kaleidoscope of challenges. Navigating a curriculum steeped in innovative ideation, creative prowess, and the zeitgeist of contemporary trends initially felt like standing at the foot of a mountain, gazing upwards at peaks obscured by clouds of uncertainty. The labyrinth of software, some as unfamiliar as distant constellations, posed an intellectual Everest to scale. Yet, maintaining an unwavering course toward an average First-Class grade remains a testament to my resilience and tenacity.
In retrospect, the metamorphosis from the fledgling endeavours of my first year to the sophisticated craftsmanship of my current work leaves me spellbound.

In the realm of 3D Principles and Advanced 3D Animation, I’ve sculpted projects with Cinema 4D, while Graphic Design, Media Project, and Visual Communications honed my prowess in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, shaping campaigns and branding initiatives.
The Web Modules were a playground for design, photography, and coding, where I crafted educational games and delved into the intricacies of UX/UI design, igniting a passion for the future.
Projects like Advanced Graphics for Broadcast and Production Project nurtured my motion graphics and animation skills, while modules in Digital Video and Video Post Production became realms where Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects came to life, paving the way for my aspirations in digital illustration and music video production.
The joy of directing and animating a groovy music video in the Advanced Graphics for Broadcast module fuelled my desire to tread the path of creativity and design. As a freelance designer, I aspire to continue my journey in illustration and music video production, with two projects already beckoning on the horizon. And in the realm of full-time employment, I yearn for the opportunity to immerse myself in the UX/UI design or Illustration and motion graphics world, where my heart truly lies.
